The move to cut down the salaries of the employee by Tata Consultancy Service(TCS)leads to a uncertainty or vagueness in outsourcing industry. This decision by the India’s software giant is very significant in many perspectives. Most importantly it has created a tumult in software industry. The industry is panic stricken and techies are keeping there finger crossed for the best to be happened with them.

But the decision taken by TCS is really there internal matter or is it an indicator of the stagnant outsourcing industry?Only time can be the best judge. When the annual salary review is yet to come in another two months, TCS message will keep the techies in a state of apprehension. A business analyst from HSBC said “not only the IT sector but the whole outsourcing business suddenly became sluggish, few more shocker we can get very shortly”
In a nutshell, keeping the present scenario of the market in mind, industry is following vigilant approach which is not so encouraging for the techies.
